Connecticut College is conducting an internal search for a Substitute Early Childhood Teacher to lead and develop programs and curriculum for a toddler classroom.  

The On Call Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate programs and curricula; record keeping and writing developmental reports; and assisting in daily set up of classrooms and curriculum.  In addition, s/he will attend parent meetings and supervise teacher aides and college students in the classroom and assist in evaluating children using observational and standardized measures as appropriate.  

Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of one year working with young children is required. Master’s Degree preferred.  Must be able to communicate effectively with team members; maintain regular communication with Program Director, other teachers and therapists and maintain a positive professional work environment.
