Connecticut College is conducting a regional search for a Snack Shop Attendant to work in the college's busy snack shop. This position is 40 hour per week, academic-year (40 week). Position will remain open until filled.  Position pays $17.83/hour and is benefits eligible.

The Snack Shop Attendant will be responsible for food preparation, set-up of work areas, short order cooking, sanitation of areas, cash register operation and frequent customer service. Must be able to communicate with students and other campus customers about menu offerings and ingredients, have the ability to work under pressure, as business has periods of high volume; and work in a team environment. 

Requires flexibility with job assignments, basic math skills, read, write and converse English, follow directions, able to lift 50lbs, work both independently and as part of a team, and some supervision of student workers. Must be committed to working with a diverse environment and interacting collegially with individuals of different backgrounds.
